As part of our language enrichment programme, we offer cultural trips that provide a truly immersive experience. You’ll have the opportunity to practise your language skills in real-life situations, surrounded by native speakers.

To make your journey even more enriching, we collaborate with local partner schools to organise workshops and cultural activities that deepen your connection to the language and the people. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to help you feel fully immersed in the local culture.

From wine tasting and shopping in local markets to cooking traditional dishes, you’ll explore new flavours and aromas. You’ll also visit fascinating historical sites and take in breathtaking landscapes.

Cultural trip in Sicily, Italy

Sicily - September 2024

And we’re back in Sicily! This time, our students had the chance to discover the western part of the island exploring Palermo, Trapani, and the stunning ancient ruins of Segesta and Selinunte.

 

As always, the experience was complemented by incredible food and excellent wine. Beyond the travel and adventure, it was also a fantastic opportunity to practice Italian in real-life conversations with the locals.

Lucca - September 2023

Here we are! These year our students went to the charming town of Lucca, known as an Italian "Città d'arte". A part art, architecture, food, wine and excursions they attended in our partnered school some Italian workshops. 

​

Our students also visited Viareggio, Montecatini Terme, and had the opportunity to spend time in a lovely Tuscany farm tasting local wines.

Cagliari - September 2022

On September 2022 a group of our students had a fantastic trip to Sardinia. As well as the Italian workshops in our partnered school in Cagliari, they also had the opportunity to enjoy delicious foods appreciating stunning landscapes.

On their trip the students also visited the Nora ruins, Barumini and the "Tomba dei Giganti", enjoying a wine tasting in a lovely vineyard.

Siena - April 2018

This time a group of our students had a unique opportunity to practise Italian in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

​

They visited picturesque areas of the city, "le contrade", tasting regional food specialities. In one of their excursions they visited Montalcino vineyard.

Sicily - September 2016

On September 2016 a group of our students had a fantastic experience in Sicily. They were delighted to be involved in the preparation of ‘Arancini’ a typical Sicilian recipe.

​

They also enjoyed visiting lovely town as Taormina, Siracusa, and also Ragusa Ibla and Scicli, the places of Inspector Montalbano.
