Spanish Teacher

Arancha is a fully qualified teacher with ten years of experience teaching languages both in mainstream schools and one to one lessons. She speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. Currently she is teaching children and adults from beginners to advanced levels. Arancha believes that her ability to speak four languages gives her the confidence of not only how to teach languages but how to learn languages.


Italian Teacher

After having worked in an International School in Italy for 10 years, Fabia moved to UK with her family. Fabia has a vast experience in teaching Italian language to children and adults in collaboration with Southampton Community Languages.


Italian Teacher

Ileana has been teaching 4 languages to adults and young learners for ten years in different contexts: primary and secondary teaching, evening classes and corporate language courses. This has made her aware that learners are different and what matters is adapting and differentiating teaching to enable the students to become independent learners. She has a degree in English and French language and literature, a Master in Economic Translation (Italian, French and English); CELTA certificate (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults), PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). She is passionate about languages and she can’t wait to share this with you.


Spanish Teacher

Alvaro is a teacher with more than 15 years of experience working within the spheres of Spanish as second language, visual innovation, creativity and strategic thinking. He has gained extensive experience in teaching in various countries such us UK, Mexico, Chile, Canada and Spain, extending his international reach, facing different realities and challenges.


French Teacher

Racy is a native French speaker, a fully qualified teacher and holds a degree in English and Spanish from the University Paris X. She has been teaching French, Spanish and English as a foreign language to adults and secondary school students for nearly 10 years. She loves to share her passion for communication to encourage others to broaden their linguistic and cultural horizons to explore the world through the learning of foreign languages.


Portuguese Teacher

Hortênsia holds a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature (Portuguese, English and German) and she is a qualified teacher. She worked as a Portuguese teacher at state schools in São Paulo, Brazil. Her experience includes also teaching German and English at private schools. Hortênsia loves languages. She has studied also French and recently some Italian at Tertulia. Languages are not her only interests in life. She is also passionate about Brazilian sambas and she loves sewing small pieces of Calico to create beautiful patchwork quilts.


German Teacher

Katja is a native German qualified teacher. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching German, working with all age groups in school settings, colleges as well as 1:1 tuition. She has been living in the UK for almost 20 years, and she also holds the qualification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Katja likes to adapt her lessons to the learner’s needs, as we all learn in different ways. She believes that learning a language should be an enjoyable experience for the learners achieving their goals.


Italian Teacher

In love with languages since childhood and always curious about other cultures, Barbara has studied Foreign Languages and Literature (English and French) at Ca’ Foscari, University of Venice, as well as studying German.

Italian native speaker and based in London since 1997, she has been running groups and teaching Italian in different contexts, from one-to-one bespoke tuition to teaching different age groups.

In addition to her love for languages, Barbara is passionate about music. She is a Jazz singer and songwriter and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Performance.



Paloma (which means dove), she is from Madrid. She has been teaching for 17 years and she loves teaching.

Her career spans from teaching in secondary schools, colleges, university and an examiner for GCSE and A level. She comes from a family of teachers, her grandmother was one of the first female teachers in Spain. She looks forward to being your tutor.


English & French Teacher

Monique is a fully qualified teacher with a degree in languages and has over 20 years of experience teaching. Over that time she has taught in a wide range of contexts from schools, to small groups and also one-to-one tuition for small children through to adults.

She speaks five languages and this has always been her passion; she loves travelling and meeting people from other cultures. The ability to speak other languages she feels enables her to have a better understanding of how other languages are learned.


English & Spanish Teacher

Julia is an ESOL, French and Spanish teacher with twenty years' experience. She was a language trainer to English and French customs officers before teaching in a secondary school for a number of years. Currently she is working as a freelance tutor of all three languages. She has a PGCE, DIP TFLA and Cert TEFL.


English, French & German Teacher

Andrew is a languages teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching French and German both in schools and in Adult Education.  He has a B.A. Honours degree in French, a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, a Masters Degree in Translation, and a TEFL qualification from the University of Portsmouth. He believes that being able to communicate with others in their own language, opens up a whole host of opportunities. Learning a language engenders understanding in other people’s cultures. He enjoys working with individuals and groups to help everyone achieve their potential and become capable and speakers of languages other than their own.
